So, apparently 'Bird Up!' was a bar call that bourbon-loving blokes would utter when making the collective decision to switch from something lighter to the bourbon part of the evening.

The folks at Wild Turkey HQ wanted the phrase to stick, so we went looking for other moments in history where blokes stepped up to a challenge.
